NDIS funding for exercise physiology
Yes, where exercise physiology sits in your plan, and where your plan is self-managed or plan-managed. Exercise physiology usually falls under improved daily living or improved health and wellbeing, and whether it is in yours is something your plan or your support coordinator can confirm faster than we can.
We are clinic based rather than mobile, which is worth knowing up front, because a good part of the Melbourne NDIS market comes to you. If getting to Kew or Oakleigh is the hard part, a mobile provider will serve you better and we would rather say so before you book.
Your NDIS exercise physiology appointment
The first appointment is 45 minutes. Chloe Trace works out what you are actually trying to be able to do, tests where you are now, and builds a program around that goal rather than around a diagnosis. Sessions after that are 30 minutes, in the clinic, and the program changes as you get further into it.
Goals people bring here tend to be practical: managing a chronic condition, holding strength through a period where it would otherwise fall away, getting through a normal day without paying for it afterwards, or moving with more confidence.
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS appointments
- Self-managed. You pay the clinic and claim it back through the NDIS portal yourself. We give you an invoice with everything the portal asks for.
- Plan-managed. We invoice your plan manager directly. Bring their details to the first appointment and there is nothing for you to pay on the day.
- Agency-managed (NDIA-managed). We are not able to claim for agency-managed plans.
Meet Chloe at our Kew and Oakleigh clinics
Chloe Trace, at either Kew, Shop 1, 56 Cotham Road, Kew VIC 3101, or Oakleigh, 37-41 Warrigal Road, Oakleigh VIC 3166. The same person at both, so you are not re-explaining yourself if you switch clinics. Read more about Chloe
